Our team is dedicated to going beyond the 3P’s of Standard Real Estate Marketing. At The MYLIE Group Real Estate Team, we have developed a FIVE STEP PLAN in order to reach as many prospective buyers as possible.
1. PROSPECT: Our team is committed to prospecting from the moment we sign the Listing Agreement to the day we have a Firm Deal. We spread the word in surrounding neighbourhoods by knocking on doors, dropping flyers and making phone calls. We utilize our wide Realtor network, community contacts and consumer databases to find leads for buyers BEFORE your home is even on MLS! We reach more potential buyers in the first few days working for you than with a typical MLS and Realtor.ca listing.
2. PROMOTE: We utilize social media, consumer websites and our MYLIE Group extensive database to reach thousands of consumers BEFORE your property appears on MLS and Realtor.ca. The more exposure on different mediums where prospective buyers are browsing, the more qualified buyers we will attract. The goal is to show your home to as many potential buyers as possible – the more exposure, the more interest and excitement we build in your property.
3. PLACE A SIGN ON YOUR LAWN: We use signage to its full advantage once the groundwork is laid. Lawn signs, as well as directional signs (sometimes even flags!) are placed throughout the neighbourhood to bring potential buyers to your home. Additional signage is used on Open House days to help attract as many people to your home as possible.
4. PUT IT ON MLS: We will list your home on our local Real Estate Board (London & St. Thomas) MLS system, which includes the MLS for the GTA, as well as to Realtor.ca, Kijiji and London Free Press online. We would feature your home on our website and actively post on social media platforms which currently include Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and (if appropriate for the listing) TikTok.
5. POUND THE PAVEMENT: We do the legwork! We call your surrounding neighbourhood and personally door knock to chat with the people in your community about your home. Our team distributes a select number of promotional items, in-person and electronically, to draw attention to your home. When possible we take opportunities to support your neighbourhood with giveback initiatives, including partnering with local charities to encourage community participation. We share weekly progress updates to keep you informed about what is happening behind the scenes.

NEIGHBOURHOOD CALLS
We call (when possible) the surrounding homes to invite neighbours to your Open House. We want to spread the word that you are looking to sell.
DOOR KNOCKING
We personally door knock the surrounding homes and deliver Open House invitations. Neighbours may have family or friends looking to move into the community. Word of mouth can have a big impact.
NEXTDOOR.COM
We advertise on your community neighbourhood page (if allowed).
KIJIJI & LFP
We post on Kijiji and in the London Free Press digital ads where many home buyers look for Open House notices.
SOCIAL MEDIA
We spread the word about your Open House to thousands of people on multimedia platforms.
DIRECTIONAL SIGNS
We place directional signs around the neighbourhood (occasionally with balloons) and riders to draw traffic to your Open House. We’ve sold homes because of this high visibility during Open Houses.
GIVEAWAYS
The MYLIE Group goes one step further to attract people to your Open House…FREE STUFF! It may sound crazy, but it works.
OUR FULL WEEKEND COMMITMENT
We host full weekend Open Houses – both Saturday and Sunday when the property is just listed to allow for as many people through your home as possible!
COMMUNICATION
At the conclusion of each Open House we share with you the details from the day’s event.
SAME DAY FOLLOW UP
We contact all visitors to your Open House the same day for feedback.
